Al though there has been a drastic change in for the design specs stay very similar. The directional from has flipped, so that a potential touch sensitive surface will be on a more ergonomic angle for the user of the device. The touch pad would be more toward an equalateral square, rather than this tall pad.
I started using curves to form the shape in this model test, the front became very deformed and the model was not a step in the right direction,
